Branscombe

A fabulous little village on the path, less than a mile north-east of Porlock

The village is off the path, but well worth the short (3/4 mile) detour (lots of thatched NT properties and a great hotel pub called the Masons Arms)

The lost village of Hallsend, swept away by a storm, but the foundations can still be seen clinging to the cliffs.

The perfect estuary, very undeveloped, with a ferry (which runs through the main part of the season) and the beautiful village pf Helford with a terrific pub.

At the most Westernly end of Cornwall, just by Lands End. A spectacular surfing beach guarded by a lifeboat station and fishing village.
